After a great weekend of camping and Dave Matthews Band concert going I was up at 7am driving to Seattle to pick my Dad up at the airport and drop Nick off to head home.
I hopped in behind the wheel and drove the 331.1 miles from Seattle to Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho. We basically drove straight across the state of Washington and just over the border of Idaho. Total drive time was around 5 hours. We pulled into the hotel at 4:30PDT.
The landscape of Washington was much more diverse than I expected, and it’s amazing how much open land exists here. We drove literally for over an hour without seeing anything besides open rolling straw color hills. I have a few pictures of the weekend and the drive today, but I’m pretty exhausted, so I’ll post them later.

I don’t know if you know this or not…but much of Washington is a desert…..
I mean it’s dry out there!
